Anyway.. doing this swatch post for a forumer i met on Lyn~ We seem to share the love for makeup~ hahaha... so i got out my stash n realized~ HALF IS MISSING!!!!
Left them in kl together with my Benefit stuff i guess~ zzz... ANYWAY~ i managed to dig up 10 items i have from Nyx~ n here are the swatches! :)
Tea Rose: An all time favourite for me~ Just the right shade of rose without going too reddish or over the top~ A very natural matte color for an everyday look~ :)
Fig: Much brighter compared to Tea Rose~ Slightly more reddish and more vibrant than tea rose~ Its a matte shade also.. I don't usually apply it onto my lips like how i usually apply lipsticks~ With this I just dab it on to get just the right hint of color~ n top it off with a gloss. (Not a big fan of super bright colors.. :P)
Vitamin: Looks very orangey from the tube, but applies on kinda sheer and very frosty~ Haven't really used this alot but it wud be nice to give u a healthy look (since its called Vitamin~ :)
Sky Pink: Very frosty and theres just a slight hint of pink. I dont use this color alone. I normally top it up with a darker shaded gloss to avoid looking like a corpse~ HAHA.. this color just washes me out but i do love the shimmering pink~ n hence the darker gloss combination.. heh
Christie: Very nice name for a lippie but once again this color washes me out on its own but its a shade darker than sky pink and frosty too~ i like mixing this with other lippies or glosses to make it darker but still have the frosty look.. :)
Pumpkin: This is a shade that took me a long time to decide to order it~ It looks like orangey brown from the tube but it really is a nice nude shade for me~ the color is not very opaque and gives a slight sheen.. has a slightly pink undertone to it and for me, its a shade that i'm not scared to wear~ (am actually very scared of nude colors, esp those that make u look like u have no lips! )
Sparkling Salmon(Diamond Sparkle Lipsticks): This is diff from the round lipsticks and priced a little higher i think. It looks very nice in the tube, a nice salmon color but it is WAY too Sparkly! Its so frosty, I cant actually c the csalmon color on my hand.. juz frost~ :P I believe it'll look better if mixed with another lippie~
Strawberry(Round Lipgloss): Pink gloss with slight shimmers in it. Goes on sheer and the formula is a tad watery for my liking. I actually prefer sticky glosses as they stay on much longer~ and the smell is eww~ very plasticky smell but once u get past that, its still a nice color~ :P
Sparkle(Round Lipgloss): Pale pink gloss with LOADS of shimmers... the shimmers are kinda fine but it makes the gloss very very frosty~ not my fav and once again.. The SMELL :(
Soft Fuschia(Jumbo Lip Pencil): Initially i thought id would come out as a light magenta or a purplish pink due to its name but this is a mauve pink~ a shade darker than tea rose. Also another very natural shade. Only set back for me is u have to sharpen it~ I thought it was those twist type so i tried twisting the bottom. The bottom came out. HAHA~ my stupidity~ :P
So anyway~ these are the swatches and my reviews! Will do another swatch and review when i can locate the missing Nyx Lippies~! :)

I couldn't find a purple similar to what Connie used. So instead of a more bluish purple, I went for a more pinkish purple!

Eyes -Urban Decay Primer Potion -88 Color Pallet (White, purple) -Coastal Scents Gel Liner in Indigo (For upper lashline) -Red Earth pencil liner in Jet Black (For lower lashline)

I just received my order of Coastal Scents Smacks! I read about its great reviews on many blogs. So I decided to order too. Initially I only wanted to buy 1 or 2 to try out, but the colours were so nice! I ended up buying 5 of them! haha... They come in 21 colours. Some with glitter and some without..

Coral Funk is a nice coral color with golden flecks in it. Very pretty!
Near Peach is a orangey color without glitter. Its more to the nude side.
Pep Pink is a light pink color with no glitter. Similar to Near Peach, its pinkish nude.
Monroe a Go Go is a nice pink shade with silver flecks. A nice shade to use when you go out!
Sheer Crimson looks dark in the bottle. More like a dark red with silver flecks, but applies on sheer. It onli gives a slight tint to the lip. Good for evening outs! :)
The consistency is not as sticky as the MAC Lusterglass I own, so i assume that the staying power wont be that great compared to MAC. But for those who dont like tacky lipglosses, you'll have to try these! The colours are super pretty! :)
I saw this ad on a website.. N so happened me n my freinds were somewhere hear Shah Alam on 15th May. So we decided to go over and have a look. The sale is at a shopping center at Shah Alam named Plaza Alam Sentral..
It was quite a disapointment.. There weren't much there.. The sale was quite small actually.. Some comma clothes.. Disney shoes n apparels.. Adidas shoes going for RM170 per pair.. but alsmost all are men's footwear..
Nothing fantastic with Levis also since we couldnt try them on as expected.. They were sold at RM150 per pair.. I didnt dare to buy them of cuz... later canot fit.. :P
I bought 2 skirts from Disney.. they were sold at RM40+ each... Ori price was around RM120 if not mistaken..

Guess wad? I went to the G2000 Stock Clearance today~! Saw the ad from Miu's blog.. and decided to try my luck there.. :P Anyways... went with Xin n Na today.. went over at 12pm... parked the car at Kelana Jaya LRT Station and took LRT to KLCC... asked for directions there and finally found the place... Menara Chan~ hahaa...

Was super bored yesterday... so kinda played around with my mineral eyeshadows.. lolx..
I've tried pink, purple, n blue looks b4... but not green... so i tried doing a green look yesterday. :P
I used MAD Minerals Chance as an all over eye colour.. juz a light wash of colour all over the lid..
Then I used MAD Minerals Cats Eye at the outer half of my lid.. blending it towards the inner half..
Dabbed a little MAD Minerals Aquadelic the the bottom 1/4 of my lid close to the lash line and blend...
Highlighted my brow bones with Elf Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance..
Finally I lined my lashline and waterline with the MAC Softsparkle Eye Pencil in Peacocked from the MAC Little Darlings Set... (the 1 that looks like teal color)
Last but not least, i used Clinique High Impact Mascara... didnt do much effect to my lashes.. haha.. :(
MAC Little Darlings: 5 Coral Lipglass/Lustreglass Dupe!
As much as I love makeup, they are sometimes too pricey... That is why sometimes I like to look at the alternatives: Dupes!
Juz in case u don't know what I'm talking about, Dupe=Duplicates, means the cheaper alternative.. :)
So anyway, it was only recently I realized there was similarity between the sets of lip glosses i owned. So I took them out n swatched them n true enough, some shades do look similiar!
The sets I have are MAC Little Darlings: 5 Coral Lipglass/Lustreglass and the Color institute: Shimmering Kisses
The consistency of MAC Lip Glosses are a bit more sticky than the the Color institute: Shimmering Kisses
